Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Tuesday 15th of October 2013. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 4 females. The smallest male was at least 21mm SL and the smallest female was at least 20mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 24 months old. The individuals were obtained from Friend in Des Moines, Iowa - I think Shooter.

Eggs There were 10 orange eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter.

Free swimming: 7 days
Segregation I divided my 55 gallon into 3/4 & 1/4 sections. When I see a cave with eggs. I will move it to the 1/4 section till the fry are free swimming. Then return the cave & male to the other side to spawn again. I have had 3 spawns so far. Currently I have a few plump females. I'll get some pictures posted when they are a little bigger -
