Down Breeding
Behaviour Male would follow the female around and the eggs were mainly attached to the underside of the leaves of the sword plants. I could count about 40 or so eggs both times I have actually counted eggs. The female, when done, would "lose" the male in the tank and seem to be less social than normal for about 1/2 day.
Eggs There were 40 eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter.
Segregation As with most of my tanks, fry, eggs and adults were all left together. I do not intentionally breed some of these fish, so for me if fry survive it is a plus, I more enjoy just watching the fish.
Fry sizes 7 days: 0mm
14 days: 0mm
21 days: 0mm
Juvenile sizes 1 month: 0mm
3 months: 0mm
6 months: 0mm
Fry and juvenile feeding They were primarily fed the same as my other fish (earthworm flake, earthworm stick, veggie sticks, live brine shrimp, blackworms). The fry seemed to like everything more than the veggie sticks, but would still eat them if other foods were not presented. It was funny watching them try to hunt baby brine shrimp in the middle of the water column
