Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Thursday 11th of June 2015. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 90mm SL and the smallest female was at least 80mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 30 months old. The individuals were obtained from Van Keulen Cichliden (NL)(Breeder Oliver Frank DE).
Feeding
1.Various dry foods (dry / prepared) daily

Temperature 26.0°C to 29.0°C

Dimensions The aquarium dimensions were 1000mm x 400mm x 500mm (39.4" x 15.7" x 19.7") all Length x Width x Height.
Furniture Lots of rocks, caves and wood. Sand on the bottem.
Filtration A 900l/h JBL Greenline Cristalprofi external filter and a Europet 450 l/h internal filter.
Lighting T5 2x32watt
Heating Sera 150watt internal heater. But because it is summer the water was warm because of the weather and not from the heater.
Down Breeding
Behaviour I didn't witness the actual spawning.
Segregation I didn't realize they had spawned until I noticed the free swimming Youngsters. I took a break from trying to breed them and, what do you know, they decided to start. So there age is a guess.

3 months: 0mm
6 months: 0mm
Fry and juvenile feeding They eat what the adults are eating. A wide variety of dried en frozen foods daily, as well as fresh veggies weekly.
