Overview | The first spawn was on Wednesday 2nd of March 2016. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 4 females. The smallest male was at least 35mm SL and the smallest female was at least 40mm SL. The individuals were obtained from 7 wild caught adults form 2 different shops.. |

Behaviour | Spawning took place 2 days after a water change and coincided with a low pressure front moving in. Normal t position with eggs laid 10-12 at a time with a 20-30 min pause before the next lot. |
Eggs | There were 100 clear but pale eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter. |

Fry and juvenile feeding | Fry were large and fed after 2 days taking micro worms and hikari first bites, with repashy after a week. within 2 months fry were eating everything that the adults would. |
