Re: Firefox 7.1?!?!?

To answer the initial question, Google Chrome is currently third in popularity among PC users, and appears to be set to over take Firefox as #2 soon.

Re: Ancistrus book

I do now. Thanks for the link. I've just skimmed it and I"m happy with the US $19.00 purchase. If you've spawned and raised any of the rarer plecos to second and third generations this book probably isn't for you. My question to you is why didn't or don't you write one? Publishing ebooks is eas...

Re: Making a DIY Breeding Cave for my ancistrus

As long as you're making your own, make a few that are larger, just in case your fish don't know what they are suppose to like.

If you make the bottom out of glass you'll be able to peek as needed.
Plastic for the same purpose will probably peal off at exactly the wrong moment.

Re: Black and White L333s? or L66s?

This is one of those really frustrating issues.
I'm not arguing, yet. ;-)
I don't know enough, yet.

The fish in the first video look exactly like my L333s.

Re: caves

I'm planning to rent a wet saw this spring and invest a couple of hours cutting up slate tiles into cave size pieces. I hope to never have to worry about caves again.

So, what are the best sizes for Your zebra plecos? Please.

Re: How long to QT

Personally, I quarantine for a minimum of four weeks for common fish.
Given the costs involved with zebras Id suggest at least eight weeks.

I can't answer the rest of your question, as I consider my self too new to plecos to comment.

Innovations are coming along.
We may have to start actively growing algae instead of fighting it. ;-)

Re: Which part of the world are you from?

I'm one of the lurkers. Outside East Lansing, Michigan, USA. I came to learn. I haven't seen any posts that I could add anything intelligent to. I've gotten peppered cory's to spawn every couple of days, but only collect eggs in the java moss that I keep swapping between tanks. As of yesterday I hav...
