Re: Barbel Erosion Observation

The youngsters are still in QT and being treated, I was hoping for quicker progress on the regrowth. The adults in the display tank still have their barbels.

Barbel Erosion Observation

Good day, everyone. I have a 55g community tank that has been setup for about 9 months. It has 2 skunk corydoras, 2 adult bronze corys, and school of black skirt tetras. I wasn't going to mix species originally but I've been having trouble finding more skunks so I decided to pivot away from them. I ...

Re: Panda Cory Barbel Erosion

Thanks for the responses. I vacuum every time I do a water change but with the 2 clown plecos it sometimes seems like I could vacuum twice a day and not keep up. Regarding the TDS, I live in upstate NY and we do have pretty hard water here. And, Shane, I think that might be a good idea. Maybe I'll m...

Re: Panda Cory Barbel Erosion

Unrelated note but kind of cool: apparently the two plecos are 9 years old! viewtopic.php?t=33214 The tank has been up for 5 years at my current house but I moved it from my previous residence.

Re: My new L104(?)

Thanks for the ID assist. They are now happily hiding on driftwood in my display tank. So if by chance these were male and female, I would have a hybrid situation on my hands if they bred?

My new L104(?)

I picked these two up a week ago at my LFS labeled as Clown Plecos. After browsing the L numbers I'm not so sure that they are both the same species, any thoughts?

Hello everyone. I've somewhat recently returned to the hobby after an extended break due to my time in the Army. When I was younger I had 5 tanks ranging from 10 to 55 gallons. I also used to work at my LFS when I was in high school. Now that I'm an adult (somewhat) and getting settled (somewhat) I ...
