Hailea air pumps - SOLD

Hi Bought 3 versions of these and they are simply no use to me for one reason or another. Mainly being I work in the room or they too powerful. All boxed up but have been used.

1x ACO-9810
1x V-60
1x AC0-208

Pickup only from Dartford - Next to QE2 bridge (M25).

Make me an offer.

Re: Mortal disease: treatment ?

Few things to consider. Esha 2000 is well tolerated but not the most powerful of medications its possible it knocks back the issue but can't clear it. The disease you are fighting may well be a small parasite and as such the meds knock out some stages but not all of them so as it cycles your fish ar...

Shark pro filters anyone used?

Now me being me am always on the lookout for a new better filter.

These stood out a little as now all magnetic in fittings so no suckers. The modular design also looked interesting.

Re: Swiss Tropicals corner sponge filters

I think for value / safety the air filters win. They take more abuse. (Watch out for the older aqua ones they have small holes in them and they clog.) Have very low chance of leaking. (Cut the airline just above the tank and put a non return, valve or straight connector and if it disconnects for any...

Re: Cory tank rack

Hi, I would suggest instead of going for multiple tanks look for 1 big divided one per lvl or 2/3. Like an aquarium shop would use. 1 - It should already have some pipe work drilled (if used) 2 - Price should be good (if used) / saves time and reduces chances of leaks if you have fewer joins. 3 - It...

The link left up is correct and still working.

Re: Creating flow next to a Pleco Cave

I think the point was the the O2 goes into the water between the waters surface and the air. The bubbles you see going up don't really add anything while rising.

Rippling the waters surface should provide you plenty of O2 in the tank.

Re: Planetcatfish Mobile App

Think the problem is generally the cost. It might be free to download but the cost of producing an android and apple app that can communicate and get to information is going to be expensive. The location is always a hot issue for me as most people don't really want to be stalked down by people on ap...

Thank you Viktor and Jools for agreeing to review. I'm breaking down how I develop it so it can be done in stages and refined. The total volume when all done will probably = or exceed that of your average fish keeping guide. But the idea is to build it in bite sized chunks. That way it can be releas...

Re: Is pet insurance worth the money? Who here has it?

Depends who you ask and the value you place on your pet. I have 2 dogs and both are insured. The first one cost £6000 in year one and £4000 in year 2. He has had 3 stable years and is now back in care. Cost of insurance is lower than the cost of the vets so far. That said he has required 20x the pri...

Re: Keeping Fish is never Quite easy

Sadly kit is built to fail. Older kit seems to have a much better life span. Used JBL externals for over 4 years few problems. But switched over to HMF and sponge filter combo as find it less hassle. (JBL can't be held responsible for puppy damage) Only thing I chew up now is an air pump about once ...

I know the old school eheim went forever. I bought a eco and it broke down just out of warranty. It was cleaned regularly and pipe cleaned.
