Re: L134 or Not?
Or, the breeder thought they had L134 and L066 but in fact did not. Pics or it didn't happen. :-) Given the number of times these fishes are misidentified I'd say it was more likely two Hypancistrus bred. Jools Indeed. Would need good photos of the two parents to confirm the L134 and L066. Cheers, ...

Re: Help me create a photographic database for wood cats!
Just to expand on this, completely happy to help. I know that when we met Sean, you saw me supporting the next generation of catfish specialists and so you'll know I believe in this kind of thing. If you would consider working with us, we actually have the capability to handle all this information ...

I'm doing something wrong with the posting of the vid .... I fixed your post for you. When you use the YouTube tags, you type only the video-specific code inside the tags: For the video link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2WWbX0MKEQ, type only "a2WWbX0MKEQ" (but without quotation marks)...

I'm also building an identical setup to put in the tank with our Microglanis aff_poecilus from the Rio Nanay.

Re: New group of 6 Microglanis iheringi... or are they?
Finally getting serious and taking time to catch eggs from these Microglanis . They're egg scatters. Great experiential advice I got from Becca Goldring, who bred them last year (or maybe the year before). She recommended I build a false floor. But instead of a false floor, I'm trying the egg-catchi...

Re: Meet Chewy
Thanks Shane. (even so, for $23 more, I would have jumped at a new tank over a used one, even if the frame wasn't cracked).

Re: Meet Chewy
Good save, Shane. That would have been a painful tragedy. Glad it ended so well. Only $123 for a new 75 gallon tank? Dang! I recently bought a used 75 gallon tank for $100 and was pleased with the price, until I found out late the plastic frame was cracked both on a top corner and on a bottom corner...

Re: Synodontis decorus?
IIRC there is well known and versed, longtime syno breeder in Alberta, Canada who supplies local stores. RD from the MFK (and here) knows him. Do you? Maybe these are from him. They are too small to ID for me too. Thanks Viktor. I don't know the source. The lfs does order from Petra Aqua in the Cze...

Re: Cw009 sold age
For most corys except dwarf corys, I think it's acceptable to sell them at 25 mm SL (about 1") excluding tail length. That's also the rule my club follows for sales.

Synodontis decorus?
Hi all,
I saw these at my LFS, being sold as Synodontis decorus. Are these hybrids?

Re: Cory IDs please
I think you are correct. I sat watching my C brevirostris and noted their spots do not form any obvious lines like your’s have. More directly, the fish in the photos above are straight snouted, high body corys (that's what puts them in Lineage 8). Corydoras(ln9) brevirostris is a short and round sn...

Re: Fishes near Iquitos
Thanks Shane! Yes I'm quite happy with them and they're doing well. I wish though that I had received the Rineloricaria morrowi in the shipment. Those are much less commonly imported than lanceolata.

Re: Corydoras id
Corydoras(ln8sc4) incolicana seems correct to me. C141 would have white dorsal and pectoral fin spines and C110 has hyaline fin spines.

Eric
