L306 are doing excellent!
They sure grow slow but I just got a male with fry in a growout tank that was less than 2" tl I'm thinking there stacking up to be half the size of l397.
Anyone keep these cool l306 plecos would ...

Re: Cave dimensions for L397
Yes I sent the pic. Brantly is gonna send me a variety of what he thinks will work.
They are so beefy my L397 10 years old 5"+.
I'll report back with hopefully good news.
Thanks again!

Re: Cave dimensions for L397
Thanks so much they do look wider I ordered the black round caves to try.
The Euro D caves seem to short they like the long caves but do look wide.
Does Brantly do custom caves? I loaded up on the larger ones a couple months ago & they refuse to go inside they just hang in the 1.5" 10" caves but to ...

Re: Cave dimensions for L397
Thanks for the comments I searched all over plecocaves & couldn't find 1.75".
Seems that's what I need. The 1.5" are to small now.

Cave dimensions for L397
Hi friends 👋
Hope all the fish are good!
My colony of L397 stopped breeding they seem to large for the caves they always used.
I added larger caves but they seem to not want to go in & definitely not breeding.
Was thinking of custom ordering something from plecocaves!
Thanks in advance.

I use soilent green & morning wood for baby l306 & l397.
The spawn & grow is 50% off so thought it was a good deal but not sure if squid would be good.
All the chubbies look good now I been feeding this amazing 8 in 1 with earthworms & black worms along with algae.

Re: L332 Green Chubby plecos
Seachem MetroPlex Metronidazole is what I can buy today on Amazon. I can buy the Octocil but will have to ship internationally & take awhile.
Seachem seems to be the closest medicine to Octocil.
Thanks Daniel you the man!

Seems impossible for me to treat them in a large tank with other plecos if they don't even eat?
I can mix seachem meds in repashy. I think I need to treat the whole tank now since I have dozens of other plecos in the tank.
The supplier mentioned they already treated the plecos. I am also thinking ...

Re: L332 Green Chubby plecos
Yes, treat them, its always the first to do really when you get wildcaughts. They are easy to feed if they are established well and sunken bellies are definetely a sign for parasites. After treatment, offer some natural yoghurt in addition to the normal food, this might help to enliven their ...

Re: L332 Green Chubby plecos
Hi team I been noticing sunken bellies on the chubby plecos.
I been overfeeding & did 2 weeks of prazipro.
I had the same issue with chubbies awhile back.
Should I assume they have internal parasites & treat the whole tank?
