sometimes even exporters themselves.. dont condition them well.. so as soon as they arrive they are pretty much banged up, and is very hard to re-condition..

if you want u could transfer the fry to a separate tank, with good filtration adn aeration. feed them with lettuce. and do water change every other day or every day.. goodluck

yep.. goldfish arent ideal with plecs.. base from experience.. we had a mistake of putting all our newly arrived L24 and L25 to a pond with goldfishes which were newly arrived also.. And suddenly all the plecs died the day after, I guess the dirt level was too high and that goldfishes require salt w...

try to look for good quality L177 from the batch.. bec. based from experience its quite hard to get them back to health especially when they were newly imported..

I have 3 L95.. and they are indeed very beautiful and peaceful. they kinda swim gracefully and ive never seen them being aggresive :)

almost all loricariids need wood.. :) Its better to provide them some even a small wood only for them to chew and to hide..

hi i agree with yann.. if its an L191 it kinda lacks the green coloring.. nywasy your kinda lucky to have L27b bec. i heard that they are quite difficult to get.. :)

thnks yann... i think that red marks were the cause of both.. plecs that were weaken where chewed by other plecos and then bacterial infection occurred.. Anyways.. the tank now is stable.. i just kinda lost alot olready.. :(

a male ancistrus has plenty of bristle.. while females tend to have none to some slightly in the mouth area.. but there should be none in the head area..

has anyone heard of an ancistrus named barbusca? Cuz a friend of mine imported some and as to my surprise they look like ancistrus with yellow spots and the female have small gold spots.. And the male kinda looks like that.. :)

hi all, well there seems to be reddening of the body parts.. ph crash is a possibility but i doubt it, because I tend to water change thrice a week, so my water quality seems to be pretty good..
