Several juvie F1 H. Contradens and F1 H. Furunculus (both approx 1.75").
Also have several juvie hoplos (M. Thoracatum) available.

I have 6 week old fry (L-600). They huddle in a bunch around small tank décor. What foods would be best for growing them out?

how about acorns

In reading this thread, I began to wonder about acorns... At this time of year in the Northeastern US, acorns that fell last fall are starting the rooting process. They are about the size and shape of pecans and as they shed their shells, they expose two large lobes of woody flesh. I think the trees...

Yes I do have driftwood in the tank... I have no idea what kind but I got it from a shop. The two larger L-204s are housed in a 20g long with a power head for good circulation. Only other occupants are a few corys.

I'm also interested in breeding these guys and have been keeping a few for about 2 years. One is about 4.5" or 11cm and showing the "hairy" male characteristics on rear flanks of the fish and has staked out a cave. Not sure if other fish is female or sub-dominant male, but it is sligh...
