my fella looks a bit spotted ... while the hoppei looks patchy (layman description ) and think there's a patch under the dorsal fin, and another between the caudal fin and the dorsal fin.

I used to have two polystictus. This fella doesnt quite look like them. Also the face shape and body shape seems different. He's got the face and body shape of the xingu but not the colouration nor the spots/ markings. That was what led me to wonder if he could be a sanchesi or otherwise. Any though...

Hi All, Had an oto who had a reddish mouth, thought it was a strange and rare occurance, took him out for some medication. Some time later, about a month or so, (today) I saw another fella with the same condition. I'm stumped. Can someone advise if it could be the wood? Kinda have a "new" ...
