thanks, I didn't really consider Tatia brunnea as the picture in Mol's book look quite different.
However, I don't know too much about woodcats and guess that colour pattern can be quite variable...
They were all caught in Tapanahony river.

this is Anicstrus macrophthalmus which comes from Venezuela and Columbia.
The amount of white spots can vary quite a lot in this species, sometimes they don't hava any or sometimes pattern is similar to L 184.

the oddball looks like Corydoras copei. Some years back I also saw in a local pet shop few of those mixed in between C. trilineatus.
However, I'm not absolutely sure if mine and yours actually were/are that species or just some natural variation of the other species.

ok, then this is not an argument in favour of H. parva but rather against.
The lower filament can also be missing / broken, but I guess it will be a different species then.
Without knowing their origin it's very difficult to ID whiptails.

yes, it looks pretty much like Corydoras trilineatus even though the midlateral stripe usually is much more prominent. Is only one looking like this or has the complete group this untypical pattern ?!

Another option might be Corydoras copei.
