Planet Catfish Announcement 16 August 2003

Post by Silurus »

All~

Announcing a raft of new pictures in the cat-elog! Some really interesting additions including but not exhaustively:

* One of the rarest Corydoras imports Corydoras gracilis (not to mention C. approuaguensis,C. carlae and C. filamentosus). Corydoras gracilis isn't actually that rare in nature, it's just that it lives in vast driftwood snags and is very labour intensive to collect.
* A FANTASTIC underwater picture of L335 (Chaetostoma sp.) in its natural habitat!
* Captive bred Acanthicus adonis.
* C92 - the "long nose bondi". Funny to think we are now past C100!
* Ancistrus formoso the blind cave bristlenose
* More North American bullheads and madtoms to add to our all American cats.
* Chiloglanis and Leptoglanis two hard to keep rarities out of Africa.

Thought these at least were worth announcing! You can see a list of all recent additions at http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/upd_index.htm.and it's only a couple of week to the new CotM. It's a South American but that's all I'm telling right now.
