so is there no way to access the catalog from the app? seems just the forum.

Man, you guys are keen! In a word, no. It is very unlikely this will ever be the case. However, it might be the case the forum will have a mobile skin and so both catelog and forum would be mobile optimised. I am working towards use of the new HTML media facility to appropriately size the catelog for better use on a mobile, but it's already quite good.andywoolloo wrote:so is there no way to access the catalog from the app? seems just the forum.

Going back a couple of posts to the one about barcodes, i have recently found "Google goggles" which is part of the google app on the iphone and I think is on android under the full name. This lets you just take a picture instead of typing in a search term and it then tells you what it is and gives you a google search and so on. I was quite amazed at how accurate it was on everyday items but I haven't tried it on a fish yet!!
