Probably easy if I could get a decent picture

Post by bkinzler »

Hi All....
I don't know anything about catfish, but I really like this site.
I've been surfing through for a couple of days off and on.
I haven't been able to find this fish. It's about 6 inches long.

Sorry I'm not much of a photographer, but could someone tell me what it is?
Thanks,
Brian

Sorry...working on the picture

Synodontis eupterus, from the lower Nile. Looks like he's in good shape!

Weird, Pic worked for you before it did for me.
Anyway I fixed it now i think.
I have another question.
Is it normal for THIS fish to spend MOST of it's time upside Down?

Nothing to worry about, they just like to hang upside-down. 8)
Hope you have some driftwood in your tank or something else they can hide under. Their common name is feather fin syno BTW. How many of these fish do you have? We have 10

They are beautiful fish, very playful. Yours seems to be an adult and shouldn't get much bigger. What size tank is he in? Hope he's not by himself. How long have you had him?
