What is my Tatia?

Is it really centromochlus macracanthus?
I perchaced with this name. But the clerk didn't know where it was captured.

How big is it? SL for is listed at 2.8", which your fish looks bigger than (that's not to say the quoted size is right, it's just right for any fish seen.). Maybe ? Just the one fish?

This is about 9cm and the body is gray with mixed yellow and not black. So I think it is not sp(1).Maybe Tatia nigra?https://www.planetcatfish.com/tatia_nigra I think colors are similar.

Granted there is only one picture of it appears the caudal peduncle is much thicker than your specimen as well as the actual caudal fin itself is a solid colour as opposed to transparent and molted like your fish.

From what I could see in the Catelog I agree with Martin, it looks closest to
I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

Thanks catfishchaos.
As you said it has solid color tail. So this fish doesn't seem to be Tatia nigra.
I'm going to think it's a macracanthus. I wish I could see the type specimen.
