Whiptail with stub nose

Post by gal36 »

Hi
Just wondered if anyone could help me please, I have 4 whiptails that I bought as crying whiptails but they all have a stub nose, I only have one photo as it is hard to get a photo of them, could this be bad breeding or are they something other than crying whiptails, I would be very grateful for any info.

And the snub node is a deformity - have seen this before with these, not sure what causes it, maybe something missing in the parents diet?

It's caused by poor conditions in the breeding tank and is not genetic.
