Unknown Ancistrus

Post by TKD »

Hi everyone,

I have four unknown Ancistrus that I have had for over 5 years now.
I'm ready to start to breed them but would like to know what they are.
I got them as "black bushynoes"
When they are young they have maroon fins a dark brown body and small white spots that resembles ich all over there body.
As they get older they loose the maroon and the spotting fads as well.
The pic is that of a female.

Thank you

Ancistrus are very hard to ID without a collection location.

Also the photo is unclear.
