Am I just an orange Gibbiceps?

Post by SuperSic »

Sister in law was sold this fish as a bristlenose :d

He/she is about 5-6 inches long, and is a very pretty fish (his name is Gerald)

Unfortunately Gerald is only in a 40l tank.

Thanks Jools, i'll rescue Gerald and move him into a 190l temporarily and look at something much bigger sooner rather than later.

This the particularly attractive form from the Orinoco. Specimens collected there have that yellow/orange margin on the caudal and dorsal fins.
