Greetings all!
Picked up three of these guys a few days ago, fell in love with the pattern and the green-blue shine. First fish in my first tank!
Could I please get some ID assistance? LFS employee didn't know the species, from snooping around I think it's possibly C. sodalis?
Any help is much appreciated!

Hi Kazzman,
Welcome to Planetcatfish. Yes your fish are . A lovely species.
As you can probably already tell, these specimens from your LFS are not in great condition. Feed them well, watch for signs of parasites (and obviously treat if needed). They will color up beautifully with time.
Enjoy them and good luck with them.
Cheers, Eric

Re: The corydora, in the billiard room, with the candlestick
Many thanks Eric,
Yes will be keeping a close eye on them. In the store they were kept in a small tank with many larger fish knocking them around, I'm not surprised they're stressed.
I'm looking to increase the shoal in time, your help is greatly appreciated!
Kind regards,
George

Re: The corydora, in the billiard room, with the candlestick
Hi George,
Watch LFS for tanks labeled agassizii or agassizii-sodalis. They are often imported as such. But there are also two other similar fishes, and . Try not to mix them in with your sodalis. The big differences lie in the dorsal fin color pattern, and slight differences in body/head shape (focus on dorsal fins).
Cheers, Eric
