New Member with Question about Pleco

Post by Noctura »

Hi, I'm a new member and I was hoping that someone could give me a hand in identifying my new pleco. He was listed as a bristlenose but once he colored up he doesn't look right to me. Image

Looks like a juvenile bristlenose to me. When young, they can have yellow-white seams along the margins of the dorsal and caudal fins. The intensity of color spots can vary from fish to fish.

Cheers, Eric
