Welcome to PlanetCatfish. Your fish is known as a "clown pleco." It is either

Panaqolus maccus

or

Panaqolus sp(L448)

. Both are similar to each other.

Your profile shows that you are in Venezuela. Did you catch this fish yourself in the wild? If so, in what river or near what town (Cagua?)?

Good night, Eric. As my profile says I am in Cagua, Aragua, Venezuela. I did NOT catch the fish, it was bought in a store. But they had no data, no other fish information.

Okay, thank you for this information. I believe that both species I named are native to Venezuela; that is why I asked if you collected them. But you bought them at a store. That does not change their identification.

Your fish is a small species which likes to hide. They also like to eat some wood with their regular diet of vegetables, shrimp, and other foods. They will poop a lot. I hope you enjoy them. I have some and I like them a lot.
