To confirm, all are c aeneus ?

Post by MissNoodle »

In light of a batch of oddly colored fry, I want to confirm that all of my normal colored (non albino) corydoras are indeed aeneus or if there's a sneak or mix in there.

I see no reason to suspect the schultzei of being father, but then IDK what the cross would look like.

Keep us updated as it grows.

A small number of the fry were extremely dark. Some were normal light colour, but a few were pretty dark. I kept 2 youngsters from that batch, the rest have found homes already.

That said, I want to be sure all the others are aeneus since any one of those could have been the parents as well, though I only saw the albino spawning that day, its not a guarantee she was the only one to spawn. My only males are the ones pictured above. All 5 of the albinos are female too.
