<i>Calophysus macropterus</i>. Make sure your tank is large enough for it, though.

Splendid creature, but gets in excess of 20 inches and so needs a huge aquarium, several hundred gallons minimum.
Certainly more manageable though than the really big S.A. Cats, Phractocephalus etc. etc.

very nice.. one of my favorit cats... not comonly seen around these parts.. very nice.. what was the price tag? did you get it???

i belive the comon name is Bolt Catfish. not sure though.. comon names suck.
