Sounds related, but for me using Chrome at work (Win 7), every time I visit the site via my bookmark (www.planetcatfish.com/forum/index.php) Ineed to log in. If I tick remember me, it still happens every time. I've just tried it and still happening - alli have to do is close the browser and re-open and I'm logged out when I open the link. And if I click on the link from this post it re-opens the site and I need to log in again!
I'll check on my mac as think it was happening there as well.
Thanks
Martin

I've made a few changes of late and, for a while, this was an issue. It's fixed now but it's to do with cookies and so can stay screwed up for a while or until you clear out cookies.
How is it now?

Re: Cannot stay logged in on Mac OS
I was getting logged off repeatedly earlier this morning, but I think it's working right for me now.
Thanks,

Re: Cannot stay logged in on Mac OS
I am going to leave it well alone (well, the cookie stuff) for a while now as I am completely sure it is setup correctly.
What I might do is create an option to keep users logged in by default.

Re: Cannot stay logged in on Mac OS
I have recently had the opportunity to try this out of the box, on a new Mac and on a fresh iPhone. I find that the site stays in just fine. The only thing I can think this could be is something external to what I can control (e.g. how you connect to the internet (or rather how your ISP works), configuration etc). You could also look at not auto-login to the site so that you can tick the "keep me logged in" box. But, I'm afraid, from a site/coding perspective there is not much more I can do.
