Error message when updating My Cats

Hi Jools,

I tried to update one of My Cats profiles and obtained this message:

Just added a new fish and the error no longer shows up, appears to be fixed.

Hi Jools,

Well good news, bad news. I can edit a My Cats entry without error. But if I upload an image, I get this:

IHi Jools.

I get this error on a white screen when I click My Fish, my Aquarian, My Breeding Log but Wishlist and Spotter works great.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '&' in /home/webcat/planetcatfish.com/common/functions/check_values.php on line 36
