BTW, sorting this by fixing the links is just fine. What you could alternatively do is add a hidden synonym (of Corydoras venezuelanus) and it will have the same effect. However, at the point the generic changes are made, all you then have to do is unhide the synonym - which would we a task anyway as the new generic placement would mean Corydoras becomes a junior synonym for the majority of species. This is the main reason the feature exists - to aid searching when there is some taxonomic flux.

Note it wouldn't work for
Corydoras(ln1)
spp. as the smart money says they stay in Corydoras.
