Hello from the US

Hello all, I have been lurking here for a while (and getting familiar with l numbers, bunocephalus, pangasids, etc) and finally decided to register, mainly for the purpose of dealing with a common-pleco-related issue.

Some background: I have been keeping fish (mainly goldfish and koi) for much of my life, and while I have been aware of fish abuse problems such as the infamous tiny fishbowl (thank you William T Innes) for quite some time, I did not always, er, have healthy fish. Some of my other hobbies include keeping and watching terrestrial inverts ( mostly not arachnids or exotic sp) and nature in general (picking up tons of Latin, luckily), although I lack any invert pets now. Hopefully I can get more familiar with the catfish community here! (Stay tuned for updates)
