What can go with koi?

hello all guys a question I am going to create a small pond for koy fish in the garden of my house and I want to know if other species of fish can coexist with them thanks in advance.

A long, long list of other fish can live alongside koi. The main rule is that the koi cannot swallow their pond mates, nor vice versa. Also that everyone can handle the climate in your area, where it probably can get cold at times in the winter, so cold-water-hardy fish must be considered. They can be from any family - carps, catfish, perches, less so characins, oddballs.
