C numbers &CW numbers ID

Post by pleconut »

Hi i've been involved in topics requesting several C number i.d.s this last week is it possible to have a next arrow key at the end of a group of c numbers that would take you directly to the next group rather than needing to manually re enter each time. May work also for other numbering systems.
Thanks Teresa

Hi Teresa,

I am not sure I fully understand the request, especially when say "end of a group" and "manually re-enter each time". Can you give me a little more detail and outline the steps / what you are clicking on?

Cheers,

Hi to explain it a bit better c numbers ie C1+-C16+ C32+ are all on separate pages and you have to go back over and press the right C+when you are trying to look for a possible ID my suggestion was that at the bottom right hand corner there would be a say for example next> you could press which would move you to C1+ page directly onto C16+page and so forth so you essentially would scroll through the C numbers. Hope this has described what I meant a bit more clearly.
Thanks Teresa

Yes, I understand. However, I don't know how useful that would be as you've got to go through lots and lots of pages. The idea is you get thumbnails to visually show you fishes that are similar to what you are looking for and then drill down.

Also, if you want them all on one page, click on the little infinity symbol - it will show you all thumbnails.

Does that make it any easier to do what you are trying to do?

Cheers,

I've not tried using the thumbnails but will try out it next time. Still familiarising myself with the site. But thanks for looking into it.
Thanks Teresa
