I want to breed these cats I want lots of info and i want to know how to sex them(one way is to flip them over and check vents but my currant one brutalized my hand when i did this,not my fault the lfs said it'd be ok)
I am sharpshooter, and you'll never know I'm there until it's too late....

Hi!

Well the Rineloricaria Hemiloricaria and assimilated have odontodes on the cheek, some species have alsosome on the pectoral fins and on the top of the head.

For the Loricaria and similar, males have bigger lips

For Sturisoma, males have odontodes on the cheek

Finally for the Farlowella, males have odontodes on the rostre, and the rostre is also wider than the one of the femal...

right
so if i told you mine had little spikes or horns or whatever in front of its eyes does that mean its a male
I am sharpshooter, and you'll never know I'm there until it's too late....
