couple L-number questions

Post by Birger »

Not that well versed in L numbers.

Is L 502 the most recently given number at that BSSW meeting a few weeks ago or is there more past 502?

Is it described??

How did L600 skip all those numbers?

Hope this helps.
"The L number L600 was not given by Datz, the inventor of L number system. L600 is in fact a trade name (using L number) from Taiwan, and later on, adopted by Planet Catfish. The L number series is still at 400+.
The Taiwanese differentiated L600 from L114 by looking at the caudal or tail fin....if the spots or markings starts at the caudal peduncle and ends mid way into the tail fin, it is confirmed a L600. If the spots started at the edge of the tail fin and ending mid way into or not touching the caudal peduncle, then it is a L114. Another crucial id key was that a L600 would normally Not have a spotted head."
