It has been a while and I noticed I forgot to update on the fry. So here goes
They are doing great. Slow growing species. The group hasn't spawned since.
In this video there are a few more interesting F1's. Ancistrus sp. L255 and Parancistrus nudiventris

Dang you breed some really nice fish, jac. Someday I hope to have space to keep the medusa-type Ancistrus.
Keep up the great work - and the sharing.
Cheers, Eric

Looks like a small slice of the Xingu (with a little terracotta) the fishes look really clean and healthy.

Re: Spectracanthicus zuanoni (L354) spawned!
Last week the pair spawned again
I left the eggs with the male, who did a good job! By day 4 he lost a few of the eggs so I collected them and put them safe in a frying.
On day 5 he decided he had enough and kicked the rest of them out. They started hatching later that day and into the next morning. All are doing very well

Wow, really cool. Amazing the eggs don’t get eaten.
Did you say “CATFISH!?” I’m in.
