Origin of Brunos

Post by Caol_ila »

Hi!

Today i wondered why Aqualog has Cochliodon cochliodon L077/137 listed from Brasil/Paraguay lower Tapajos area? I see no connection between Paraguay and Tapajos can somebody help me please?
Second thing is that noone has a clue about the blue/brown eye spec.
And third i bought a small 5 cm one that has brown spotted fins. The fins of the bigger fish are unicolor rustybrown.
this is the big brown eyed one i have ca. 16 cm

Interests: The "passion" for fish has subsided somewhat the last couple years, only currently keeping two corys and what might be an LDA-33, as catfish goes.

I took a look at the Tapajos river in Encarta world atlas. It seems that one of the rivers that eventually makes up the Tapajos runs all the way from the area around Paraguay's capital, Asunción and into Mato Grosso in Brazil.

This may be wrong, as following these rivers on the map is very hard because there are lot's of small rivers, lakes and allso borders that can confuse you.
