Hi
I am new there
I have got 20 cm L330
Water parameters are correct no2 no3 = 0
I have noticed He stopped to eat a few weeks ago
I dont know the reason but I noticed he had sticky white feces
What is more He has a sunken belly
In the aquarium, it stays below the surface of the water He is breathing quite fast
At this moment he is the only inhabitant of the aquarium
I gave him about 45 ml of non-iodized salt ( he lives in 120l aquarium )
I will be grateful for the advice

What are you feeding, how long has the tank been setup and how long have you had the fish, what temperature is the tank, can you post pictures etc?

Cheers,

Jools

I'd guess something has happened when the fish was transferred and it's stopped eating. Not a problem if it was eating well before the move. I don't think it is disease related as you don't mention newer fishes being added to the tank. It's important to confirm this.

If the fish is struggling for oxygen, add an airstone or two. 26F is a little warm but not by any means too warm, wouldn't change that.

Once the fish goes back to resting normally, if you can, add some algae covered old wood, and consider giving the fish as much food as possible without adversely affecting the water quality (this will result, for a while, in a lot of waste). Gel based foods (look into repashy) are a good option for bringing around limnivores. Present the food in the evening, remove what's not eaten the next morning.

A picture of the tank may help provide better ideas. Hope that helps,

Jools

I suppose fish has stopped eat in provoius tank due to stress ( fish has 20 cm, the biggest fishes have more than 30 )
propably long piriod of time doesnt eat at all

aproximetly 6 month earlier I treated fishes( flagellates ) zoolek protosol - everything was ok - succesful treatment

unfortunately fish doesnt eat at all I dont know why and what is the reason :(
I am not begginer

Likely the medication reduced or destroyed the microbacteria on the fishes stomach (see this, and the papers it references), these take time to replenish and is a bit hit-or-miss. It's not really known where they come from (suggestions are decaying wood, other fishes, other Panaque). The other issues is knowing the fish was entirely cured as had been re-infected.

I don't have a failsafe solution to that; if it were me I'd try adding a healthy small Panaque (Panaqolus might work, it's unknown) or two as a longshot solution and I would also think it more likely I'd lose the fish given what we know.
