first 12 hours are done and the are still trapping (not exactly sure when they started), I felt a bit pervish staring at the vibrating tail

Hang tight, brother. If they are trapping that much, somebody is trying really hard for some action. They just have to convince the partner.

I'm right there with you regards my Peckoltia lineola. Today, both females were getting trapped after both broke up yesterday, but now one female has escaped.

Well we are at trapping attempt nr 1765249 (at least it feels like that) i just leave them alone now and feed and do my water changes waiting for the fry
