Rhadinoloricaria sp. "Caqueta"

Post by desskit »

I have a catfish I saw on the order list at work that I decided to get. I can't seem to find much information about them online and was wondering if anyone had any insights to these fish. Our fish supplier says they are currently around 9 inches but the websites I have been finding on them say they only get to about 7. The scientific name is in the title of this post but they were in our order list as "dragon head loricaria". Thanks for any help in advanced!

Hi desskit,

You're right there isn't much info on them. Did you check out this? https://www.loricariidae.info/rhadinolo ... sp-caqueta

Keep in mind that websites may be recording max size as SL and retailers usually list TL. That might contribute to the size discrepancy.

Good luck with them!
