Very nice fish. It looks like that L025 has white eyes. I've never seen white eyes on a pleco before.

I have a trio of L134's - A male and 2 females I think. Gr8 fish, very active. Love your L25, lovely colours. Has it asserted it's authority in the tank yet? 8)

Gibbo: Oh trust me!! L-25 is not violent at all compared to some other plecos Like L-114, L-282, L-160 or L-97. I have all of these and 2 L-25s. The 2 L-25s are they biggest out of them and they get beaten by all the above plecos!!

The eyes are more like silver in colour... Not really white.

Easy: Great plecos!! I think the L-25 will grow to have even nicer colouring... But mine do grow slow......

Well..... I wouldn't call them softies. They are aggressive compared to other pleco sescies but they are pretty feeble in the Pseudacanthicus family. Even Panaques beat mine up.... Mind you some panaques are crazy!!! SOme beat up my L-113!!

I dont wonna fall into that "godlike mode" again...i also have plecos fighting from time to time...but when you talk this pleco beat the other ones ups and so on is that the right setup for keping fish? I know everybody has his ways of keeping them but it just crossed my mind...
cheers

Oh don't worry, I can see your concerns  ... I will rephrase then:

The plecos defeat the other in battle when first introduced in tank. Afterwards they are generally peaceful. Just a bit of pushing around...

OK??

As a complete aside we should have an article on spawning L134 on the site soon....
