Corydoras napoensis, my first spawn

Post by bekateen »

I've had this group of adult for over a year with no spawns. I added a powerhead last week and now eggs all over the tank! Here are just some of the eggs. Most are on the glass, but some are in the spawning mops.

Cheers, Eric

Thanks! Yes I think so. Or they needed me to leave them alone. :))

Today, I see fry in the tank. But lots of eggs remain on glass, so I scraped them with a razor blade and put them in a fry net. More eggs started hatching in the basket after I retrieved them, just from the pressure of the razor and movement.

Eggs started hatching before I could collect them. But I did manage to collect most of them.

Cheers, Eric
