I tried using the search function but did not come up with anything but pictures. Does anyone have suggestions for driftwood sources that is safe for Pleco tanks? Sources in the US preferable. I am in Virginia Beach VA (East Coast). I currently have a 55gal, a 20 gal and a 10 gal. Thanks

Although Americans tend to call it "driftwood," very little of the wood used in aquaria is actually that. Most aquarium wood is just aged dry wood. There are several forum threads here that discuss what kinds of wood are safe.
Most people use oak, ash, and fruit woods. Most people avoid coniferous woods, like pine, cedar, etc., because of the resins in the wood. Also, grape vines tend to mold in water.

I have a lot of this in my plecos tanks. I got a lot of it when it was on sale.
