Glyptoperichthys ?

Post by Conny Boon »

Hi
Could anybody help me identify this Plec? I belive it to be a Glyptoperichthys Scrophus. Although it is much lighter in colour and has no orange markings on his tailfin. maby he will get it later as he is only 2" at the moment. I have a picture but don't know how to attache it to this page?

Yes the picture is already on the net will try to attach it now

"www.msnusers.com" is a members only site, your pic will not display anywhere else (and the URL is wrong anyhow). Post it in clothhumps gallery and then link it from here.

colour change

Post by Conny Boon »

Since I've taken this photo my plec has turned much darker, but still no orange flash on its tail fin. I've got him for 2 weeks now, he was white when I first bought him,(thought he was an albino) wonder what colour he will be next week. Fasinating stuff.

Hi!

Yes I agree with Jools! You can see the dots starting to show up everywhere on the body... when you have a look from far away it look like a scrophus, but close examination make it surely a gibby!
