Nothing unusual there they do it all the time in my tank but this is rather amusing!

awesome! They really have some nerve.

At least the irwini can't eat those eggs, on the contrary it is protecting them! Symbiotic relationship innit ;)

I'm sure it has somewhere.

Assuming that a) large doradids are Corydoras egg predators, and b) not shoaling species that will feed from each other, and c) small fishes such as tetras won't pick them off their highly visible position on the doradid, this might not be such a bad strategy...

I suspect the other part is that in nature, corys and big doradids probably don't see each other very often...

=)) That is such a funny pic! I've seen cories laying eggs on snails before, but this one was new. :))
