Catalog of Fishes lists it in synonymy with . I don't usually make immediate changes to names but prefer to wait to see if the changes get reversed or contested soon after. But since it's been 4 years since the publication of Ribeiro et al.'s paper, I suppose its standing as a synonyn is not changing soon.

@Jools, do you see any reason to leave A. marmoratus as separate? If not, I can move the photos, keepers etc over to A. inermis, then overwrite A. marmoratus when some new species needs added to the database.

Cheers, Eric

No reason, I'd missed the paper. It can all be combined, let me know if you need any help?

All moves and deletions made ... successfully I believe. After moving keepers, sightings, wishes, and photos, plus adjusting temp and distribution to expand to encompass both original entries, then I stripped the remaining specific info from the marmoratus CLOG page. Once that stripping (CLOG update submission) is approved, then the marmoratus CLOG page is merely a shell waiting to be renamed to the next new species.

If I missed anything, please let me know. And thanks @Dave Rinaldo for bringing this back up.

Cheers, Eric

Looks good Eric, maybe zero out the size, but otherwise the "shell entry" is good to rename.

I did set size to zero, yes. Did it not go through? No, I see it did not. Also, I had changed the pH and temp range values to "unset", and I blanked out the typed distribution field, but none of those five fields were cleared. In fact, the temp and pH changes didn't even appear on the confirmation email I received.

Thanks, Eric

The page is reassigned to . I input new temperatures, but have no info on pH. Hopefully that cleared to "unset."

Great stuff, thansk Eric. The pH info won't reset due to the bug, but I will manually clear it.

Job done!
