Chaetosoma L445 males sparring behavior
Just a quick look at my spotted bulldogs having a neighborly disagreement about who owns a particular rock.
They are still very active during the daytime, and will show this type of behavior from time to time.
My next plan is to build them a 3meter river setup around March and then get more of them.
I hope I can get them to spawn at some point.
I feed them a carnivore mix of frozen stuff from time to time, but they don't seem to really take to it tbh.

Cool video, thanks for posting. Around about 1:30 in the video, we can see the central largest stone in full. It has underneath it a small dark area where I would expect a male to spawn (although it could be bigger). I suspect if you block the line of sight from there to the rock on the right that you talk about in the video then peace may be forthcoming!
Hope that helps,
Jools

Yeah all of them are in and out around that big rock, but it seems the medium sized ones are the most preferred. I'll do what you suggested and report back.

Great video! And beautiful rubberlips (among my favorites)! How long have you had them?
Good luck with them,
Eric
Good luck with them,

They eat three baby marrows in about two to four days depending on their appetite and how warm it is.
