I'm jealous! I received a striped raphael a few months ago as a rescue and have been searching for more since, with them being slow growing and slow to mature I'm hoping to pick up adults instead of raising up fingerlings from the store. Unfortunately craigslist in my area is a bit of a wasteland for fish and fish related items.... or maybe I'm just using it wrong, what search terms did you use?

I peruse CL daily. I start with a location (SEA_TAC) wide search using each of these cichlid, cichlids, aquarium, aquarium fish. I then move into the community pet section and search using same terms and a search using just "fish." The CL algorithm will include areas out side of the Sea_Tac area with these searches too.
I will do more specific searches for species but those tend to be less effective. Puffers being an exception. Hope this helps.

I check it ever few days, searching for aquarium, fish tanks, tropical fish. Your terms get a few more hits, trending more towards Seattle, but still not much in the Portland area.

Well, with any luck you can post up some breeding reports while I'm still putting together my collection .
