Hi All,
Stumbled across this sp. online, imported into Japan, I can't seem to ID it. Not sure where from but we have permission to use the image etc.

Hi Jools,
Is it not ? Superficially, it seems like a good match except for the weak tail bands in this photo.
Cheers, Eric

Re: New Corydoras?
The body shape seemed off to me. Turns out it is a captive hybrid which was born in a tank of many mixed long-nosed corys. Doh!
Cheers,
Jools

Re: New Corydoras?
Interesting (and disappointing at the same time), because the fish appears to be a lineage 1 fish, and not many people are breeding lineage 1 species in the first place, let alone setting them up to hybridize. I suppose if it was a tank full of various lineage 1 species and a few "frisky" individuals are present, they'll find action one way or another.
Cheers, Eric
