Hi nabulus, I am in East Bay as well. Are these guys as efficient as A. cirrhosus in cleaning up alga?

Hmmm... no idea. Sorry. I don't have algae problem in my tanks. They get plenty of food everyday plus drift woods and indan almond leaves where they like to chew on all the time.
