A friend of mine who keeps (legally) North American fishes had a pair of adult (smallest is 10 cm SL, largest is between 11-12cm SL) brindled madtoms
Noturus miurus that were harassing other fish in his tank. He offered the pair to me today and let's just say it was an offer I couldn't refuse.
Considering their ecology and tank preferences, I'm putting them in my 40 gallon "toilet flush" tank with my
Dekeyseria picta.
He said the pair has spawned at least once in his tank, as he found two small fry a while back. In my tank, their new home, hopefully they thrive, and more!

. ... To be continued.
Cheers, Eric
