Peckoltia species!

Peckoltia species!

Heya,

Im new around here, and bought a couple of peckoltia species off of AB, they have turned out to be both males, but id like to ID them to maybe find some more!!

I have gone thru all the peckoltia species with pics and cant figure it out, any help would be appreciated!

HI!

What is their size??
It is quite difficult to id them without a few element!!
Under what name did you buy them?
Any idea of the origin of the import?

They look similar to

they might well be these!!

Heya,

Thank you for your reply.

They are a little over 5 inches. They were listed as "undescribed peckoltia species" and I got them from arnoldziffles, I dont know where they were imported from, sorry.

I thought they could be the L 038's too, but the coloration is a bit off. Mine do not have any of the orange color on the fins. The gold lines on mine arent as thick.

Hi!

is maybe a better candidate...

Edit: the pictures here don't represent the species too well, I think, one picture in the welse atlas II, is very similar to your fish...I based my judgement on this picture and not on the pictures represented here
